At my sisters yesterday we were talking about cool commercials and how we sometimes just HAVE to watch them! LOL! I usually tape everything and NEVER watch commercials but this one is SO CUTE! Candy also LOVES this commercial! LOL!!

Well, another busy week for me! I thought that once school was out I would be able to relax and take it easy. Chuck and I got new bowling balls for Christmas. We got them early though, I believe I got mine on Monday 12-21 and Chuck picked one out while we were there too. We got them at the pro shop in Girard, PA at the Westway lanes.
My new bowling ball is VERY different from my old one. It’s a finger tip ball and I am used to my fingers going all the way into my bowling ball. They guy that works there gives free lessons so I got some and Chuck got some and we bowled for a while. Like for 4 hours, LOL!!
So, Monday was; get up at 8am and have the boys to the dentist by 9am. They got their teeth cleaned and neither had any cavities. Then home for an hour and a half and then off to the dermatologist. I made 2 appointments in one day to get it over with.
But, we hit a few stores first and I got some shopping done at the mall. I had to buy some material for the quilts I was making the boys. Man, never wait till the week of Christmas to bust out 2 quilts!!
CJ thought he had a zit near his right eye, but come to find out it’s a cyst and they said they can remove it with electricity. We said okay, what they didn’t tell you is that it’s like putting a cigarette out on your face!!! He was in a LOT of pain!! Joe was good and mainly I just need their prescriptions refilled. I had planed to go to Wal*Mart right after and get all the food shopping done but since CJ was NOT feeling good we went right home.
Once home Chuck and I decided to run up to Girard and get my new bowling ball drilled and try it out. Like I said we were there for 4 hours! When I got home I sewed Joe’s quilt till 11pm and then crashed in bed.
Then on Tuesday we took the boys up there and they got lessons too and we bowled for another 3 hours. Then right after that we headed to Erie to finish up the Christmas shopping. We got home at 9pm. I was stressed out!! I HATE shopping!!! I forgot a few things but I can get those later. I worked on the quilts a bit more and crashed in bed.
Wednesday Chuck and I got up at 9am and left to finish the shopping that didn’t get done. As you remember I didn’t do the food shopping because of CJ’s face so we had to do that. I’m so glad Chuck went with me. We ended up needing 2 carts just for the food! We checked out and then went BACK in to finish up the Christmas shopping. After that, we went to Bob Evans for lunch. Chuck ordered breakfast and I had roast beef and noodles. Waitress was SO nice. The table behind us left $1 under the place mat for her! I HATE when people do that! Chuck left a $5 and then I wrote a note that said, “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thanks for being so nice.” and I left another $5. 
Got home and had the boys help carry all that in and I got it all put away and then my phone went off. It was reminding me of the boys chiropractor appointment. So, Chuck took them up there while I cut out squares for CJ’s quilt. I sewed the rest of the day.
Thursday Chuck and I went to Girard to bowl some more, have to practice!! Then came home and I had SO much to do!!! I had to finish BOTH quilts, wrap ALL the presents, etc. I did get the quilts done by 11pm though, LOL!! Well, not all the way done, they need tied but close enough to wrap up and give them. Chuck found the backs, this VERY nice fuzzy micro stuff! They only had Kings so we go those. Had they had the smaller ones we could have spent less, oh well. Chuck helped me wrap up everything, Thank God!! We stacked everything under the TV. We had no tree this year and I meant to get a screen saver for the TV as a fireplace and a tree but didn’t have time to even get on the computer and find one! There was one at Wal*Mart but I didn’t feel like spending $13 for it! LOL!! Maybe I should have! Fell into bed at 11pm and watched 1 show and went to sleep.
Christmas Day! Got up at 9am, did presents. My camera is dead, I have no idea why but I think it has something to do with the auto focus, SUCKS!! So, I ran the camcorder and took some pictures with my phone. Oh well, at least it’s something! I got LOTS of nice stuff. My stuff always seems to be for the kitchen! LOL!! I got a new awesome bread machine, rice cooker/steamer, cookies sheets, cooling racks, spatulas, DVD/CD rom drive that hooks up to my laptop so I can copy DVD/CD’s, slippers, bowling shoes, bowling ball, bowling bag, and other stuff I can’t remember now! LOL!! The boys played video games and I watched movies and slept the day away! I did make a ham dinner though, we all really didn’t eat much. I was glad when it was bed time and the day was over.
Saturday I drug myself out of bed at 9am and then got the boys up and we all headed out. The boys have bowling league on Saturday’s and Chuck went with them to watch. I dropped them off and took Joe’s Xbox back and got another one, and got CJ 3 more video games, they were on sale, then went to Wal*Mart and got CJ the new Harry Potter movie and a notebook of graph paper.
Headed back and got the boys and Chuck and we got home and Chuck decided it was a good time to process all three deer we have. SO, we are chopping, grinding and freezing all the deer. We JUST got done and Chuck’s brother Dave comes over with Karen and the 3 kids. She is here from AZ with Brandy visiting. Dave hasn’t seen them in almost 2 years so it was nice. I kept cleaning, the kitchen was a MESS!! I got it all cleaned up and they had to leave. LOL! Oh well!
I then made Rose Marina salad real quick because I didn’t want to have to do it when I got back home. As soon as I was done with that, we left for our bowling league! I was exhausted!! This was position night and our team in #1 and we were bowling off the #2 for first place for this quarter! We WON!!!! YEAH!!!! We spanked them! LOL!!! We came into the league 6 weeks ago so a little over half way through and we brought them to 1st place! Chuck’s 203 average helps! LOL! Mine is 122! We got put on a team where 1 guy’s shift got changed to 2nd and one guys wife left him, so we were put there. The team we beat didn’t want “the new people” so gave us to them, LOL!! There loss! Got home at 10pm and fell into bed, TIRED!!
Sunday I got up 7:30am. I guess I couldn’t sleep. I got on the computer and actually chatted with Elizabeth for over an hour on IM. That was nice because I have been so busy I haven’t had time to turn my computer on. I then made a batch of cookies and we all got ready for Christmas at my sisters house! We left at 12:15pm and we had a great time! The food was good, the conversation was good, the presents were strange, LOL! Had fun! We stayed after everyone left and helped Kitty and Craig put their house back into order. We left at 5:30pm and headed to Girard for some bowling! LOL! Chuck bowled in a no-tap tournament and the boys and I bowled about 5 games. I my games were all over 150! Not bad! YEAH!! I’m getting used to my new bowling ball. Got home at 10pm, SIGH!! Long day!

Sue H. used to work at Curves. This is how I met all my friends I workout with every morning and have lunch with every Thursday. Anyway, I gave Sue my external hard drive to take all her pictures off her computer so I can put them on a disc and she can delete them off her computer. I found these funny ones of my friends. Thank GOD she didn’t have her camera the day I dressed up funny to Curves!!! LOL!!

This is Barb and she works out with us in the mornings at SNAP and I go with her on Tuesdays to quilting and she comes to lunch on most Thursdays. This is her crazy hair day!
This is Sue S. and she works out with us in the mornings and we see her at lunch on Thursdays. She works in her husbands dental office so she can’t come quilt with us on Tuesdays.
This is Mike, Sue S’s husband and my dentist. Yes, he is weird too!!! This is him with corn husk on his head, LOL!! I didn’t take this picture, but he uses this one for his facebook profile picture! And he wonders why he gets friend requests from strange men!! LOL!!

Here is Donna, she doesn’t workout with us but she has lunch with us on Thursdays. She and her husband own the restaurant we eat at “Crazy Dave’s Sugar Bowl”. Her husband used to come to SNAP in the mornings with us but lately he’s been going in the late afternoons so we don’t see him anymore.
Here is Becky. She works out at SNAP but I only see her if I go REALLY early in the mornings. She’s an early bird! I see her on Thursdays at lunch though.
This is Marge. I see her only on Thursdays and don’t know her as well as the others. I didn’t workout with her in the mornings at Curves like the others. But I have gotten to know her better since she comes to the lunches we have.
This is Denise, I don’t see her much at all. She comes to lunch on Thursday’s every now and again. She is more Sue H’s friend but we all like her! She is one of the pharmacists at our Wal*Mart.
They have NO idea that I but these up here or that I have them! LOL!!!! So funny!! Well, I have weird friends, what can I say, I’m weird and I need friends to match!!
Man, my back really pisses me off!!! Yesterday, I went to let the dog in, leaned over to unclip her chain and BAM, my back went out and I mean GOOD!!! I could barely move!!!! I was SO upset! I have things to do yet that day! ARG!!! I was in SUCH pain! This was WAY worse then the other times I have thrown it out. Dang it!!
Of course the Dr. is closed on Thursday’s, so nothing I can do till the next day. It’s only 10:30am! Well, we had our Christmas party at lunch with the girls. I had Sue S. as my “person”. I made her a bag to carry her stuff in, some pantry panties, and some bands for her hair she likes to wear while working out. I had to wrap this up yet AND her husband Mike, his birthday is on the 18th so I was in charge of making the cake. He doesn’t eat ANYTHING with a face or a mother! LOL!!!! So, I went with a pineapple cake with soy milk in replace of cows milk, flax seed instead of egg, and pear sauce in place of butter. I would have used apple sauce but all mine is spiced so I went with pear sauce. OMG, this cake kicked ass!!!! It was SO GOOD!!!!! We were all shocked at how awesome it was! I think it was the pear sauce, man it was good!!!! YUM!!! We got him some files to sharpen his chain saw blades with. We call him a Junior Woodsman, since really his a dentist and doesn’t know a whole lot about sawing up trees. His chain went dull really fast and I told him it was from his blade hitting the ground. He now knows NOT to do that! LOL!!
Lunch was fun, even though I was in pain. I got this lovely light green fleece jacket with cardinals on it from Sue S. She had me and I had her!! LOL!! We choose names from a hat so that was a bit weird. There were 12 of us at lunch and we all had a blast. One of these days we need to take a picture of everyone.
After lunch, Chuck and I got the boys from school and went home, then 45 minutes later I took CJ to wrestling practice and Joe stayed home to get ready for his band concert. I hung out at the library until 5:30 and then went to the high school and feel asleep in the truck till 6pm when we could go in for the concert. It was SO painful to sit on those bleachers. It went from 7pm until 10pm!!!! CRAZY!!! But, at the end the Alumni Band played and it was TOTALLY AWESOME!! They can rock the house!!!
I was SO happy to get home and go to bed. I didn’t sleep that great and I had Chuck run the boys to school this morning. I called at 8am and got a 9:15am appointment. He said I threw out L5 and before I was throwing out L4. L5 is WAY more painful then L4. I cried when I got it put back in place. Chuck got worked on too and we went home. We then lay in bed and watched “The Soloist”.
Then at 1:45 we both left and got game dinner tickets from the Church in PA for next month and then got the boys from school. I have been in bed since then. Chuck took the boys to wrestling practice and then he will take them up to the bowling alley to bowl out as they are going to a wrestling tournament tomorrow. I will be home alone all day! YEAH!! I usually love that and I have so much I wanted to do but if my back still hurts this bad I won’t be able to work on my projects. SIGH!!!
We are NOT even close to being done with Christmas shopping. I HATE shopping!!! So, next week we will all head into Erie and get finished. Chuck told Joe he is getting a shopping trip just him and dad for Christmas. That kid has NO clothes that fit. At the beginning of the year he was 4″ shorter and 25 pounds heavier! YIKES!! He is VERY happy about that gift! He is our “I must have name brand crap” kid. He will take 1 pair of name brand something over 10 generic ones! LOL! I used to be the same way. I had to have LEE jeans or nothing! Okay, I still like and wear LEE jeans!
Today is the last day of school till Jan. 4th. I could really use this break. I am tired of running here and there and every where. I am sure the boys will still have wrestling practice though. I am now on a quest of good, yummy and healthy crockpot meals. I have NO TIME to make dinner. Very frustrating!!!

Well, I have been busy again almost every day I seem to be gone all day long! Today was no exception! Dropped the boys off at school, worked out, went to quilting for 30 minutes and then off to Ashtabula to see Dr. P first for my 3 month check up on my ADHD. Med’s are working fine and will stay where I am at for now. Then to Wal*Mart to do some shopping, then to the hearing place to have molds made of my ears for plugs.
She said I have ear canals of a 6 year old! LOL!! She said they are VERY small. No wonder the store bought ear plugs NEVER stayed in! I pay for them when they come in. I miss understood her on the phone, they aren’t $65 they are $65 a PIECE! OUCH! Oh well, if they help then it’s SO worth it!
Got home at 12:30 and got some computer work done and then off at 2 to get the boys from school, be home for 45 minutes and off to wrestling practice. Dropped them off and got Brenda’s two off the bus and take them over to my in-laws. Brenda is in Erie today. Stayed there till 5:30 and got CJ from school and came home. Chuck is staying there to bring Joe home from rehearsal that is from 5:30 to 7:30 for the Band Concert on the 17th.
I believe that I have NO WHERE to go tomorrow! I can work on the gifts I am making for the boys! SHEEWW! I am ready for the Christmas break!
Last week, I had my cholesterol checked and it went from 277 from this past summer to 222!!! That’s really good! LOL!! They were surprised that I was so happy about my high number! My sugar was 74, I wasn’t fasting I had juice and a sandwich from McDonald’s! LOL! My blood pressure was good and my heart rate was 94. That was good, because it was 115!
Last night Chuck, CJ, Joe, David, Collin and I went to the football game in Cleveland. We bought these tickets a couple months ago and wouldn’t you know it a storm moved in that day!! With windchill it was -12 and the wind was 40 mph! There was no snow in Cleveland BUT it was a white out for almost an hour before we drove out of it. Needless to say, we FROZE! Kick-off was at 8:20pm, by half time I was in pain, I was so cold!
We all wore MANY layers of clothes, had hand warms in our boots and gloves and was STILL frozen!!! The Browns won and it was WONDERFUL to get into the warm truck! Going home we hit the snow about an 30 minutes from home and it just got much worse the closer to home we got.
We dropped off Collin and David and made it home at 2am. It was SO NICE to get into my warm bed and go to sleep!!
