Last night was “The Moth” show in Pittsburgh and frankly I wish I never bought the tickets! I have been so excited since I bought them but it just all went really bad!
For some reason Chuck thought that the show started at 9pm but it started at 7pm. We didn’t leave the house until 5:10pm and the doors opened at 6pm.
I didn’t write down the directions because we have a GPS unit. Well, the GPS unit had NO CLUE where the place was and neither did we. My internet was down on my phone so I couldn’t use it.
We got to Pittsburgh at 7pm but we drove around lost for an hour!!! We finally got there at 8pm and missed the first 2 story tellers out of 5. I was SO stressed by the time we got there that I was crying.
Our plan was to leave early and eat someplace nice and just make a day of it but everyone wanted Chuck to deliver wood on THIS day so he thought he could do that and leave early but that didn’t work out. So, neither of us got to eat.
We finally sit down and I have heard every story out of everyone’s mouth!!! ARG!!! These stories are the same as the podcasts! How disappointing! 
Chuck still enjoyed it because he had never heard them before but I had a few times.
On the way home we stopped for gas and had our dinner of gas station food. We didn’t get home until 11:50pm and I kind of wished I had never bought those tickets!!
So, I had to get up at 5:45am this morning and get covers on all the boys books. I had bought 12 paper bags from the grocery store yesterday so that I could cover them. We finally got them done and rushed out of the house and I dropped them off 10 minutes later than usual, then I get home to find that Joe forgot his football uniform and CJ forgot his notebook and glasses, SO, I turned around and went back to the school to drop off that stuff.
I am SO tired and the boys have a football game today and tomorrow. I’m still stressed about yesterday and I just want to take a nap but I have a call from my mom this morning and then I have a call for my coaching stuff so maybe after all that I can take a nap?
*SIGH*

Well, today is the boys first day of high school. Had to get up at 6am, I help CJ straighten his hair. Weird, I am doing my sons hair before school!! LOL!! I took a picture of them leaving, they weren’t thrilled but I just had too!
Yes, hair covering half your face is in, LOL! So, as you can see from the clock on the wall, we were leaving late. We want to be out of the house by 6:40am. I got them to school by 7:05am and I don’t pick them up till 6pm!!
I went to SNAP and worked out for an hour, then went to the school to sign papers for Joe to drop band and take Intro to Tech. He isn’t going to be doing marching band so he is dropping band. I talked to Scott, who is in charge of our churches band and Joe is joining them! I was home by 8:30am and I set my timer for an hour and cleaned the house. Now I get to just relax and enjoy the rest of my day!!

Okay, I got the movie Paranormal Activity and it’s supposed to be REALLY scary! Debbie, who works at the movie theater, told me people came out screaming, throwing up, crying and just looked really scared. I couldn’t wait to watch it.
I waited till we could all watch it and I had us watch it in the daylight. I said we would turn it off if it got to scary. After about an hour we were all like, is it EVER going to even get a LITTLE BIT scary????? I got sick because of all the movement but other than that, it’s SO BORING!!!! Oh my gosh, how in the world can people say that movie is scary!?!?! I have been more scared watching Ghost Whisperer!!!! LOL!!!!! The boys even said it was boring! BOO HISS!!!!

Took Joe school shopping after football practice. We went home first so he could eat and shower and then we went to Erie. CJ was out with his Case Manager, Curtis, swimming so this was a good time. It was just him and I so we had fun. He got 7 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of sneakers, some socks and undies and 3 cartoons of whoopers! LOL!!
We got home at 6:30 and CJ was just getting dropped off and Chuck was just leaving to play poker. He took my van instead of the big white mack truck. I put everything away and went straight to bed. I didn’t even make dinner, we just ate leftovers and junk food, LOL!
I found out that my sister got her long hair all cut off too!! WOW!! I got mine done on Saturday night at my friend Linda’s house. She is a lady from church and she cuts the boys hair. Candy got hers done at Wal*Mart on Tuesday. How odd we did it just days apart but at least I was first!!!

Man, this morning on the way to dropping the boys off for football practice I ran over a kitty!!! I HATE hitting cats! I screamed “NNNNOOOOO” but there was NOTHING I could do and THUD, I hit the cat. Chuck thinks it was one of Roger’s barn cats. I just felt SO bad! What a way to start out my day! *SIGH*

On Monday morning I left for the 2 hour drive to my friend Elizabeth’s house for a 3 day vacation! YEAH!!! I took Sandy with me and left hubby and the boys at home! Now, that’s the way to take a vacation!
I got there around 11:30am on Monday and I unpacked my van and got Sandy acquainted with all her dogs and cats. She loved them all and they all loved Sandy! All Elizabeth’s pets LOVED Sandy’s bed and pillow and they all used it more than Sandy did. I brought it downstairs so that Sandy felt better. Sandy never left my side the whole time as she was a bit nervous and when I went out with Elizabeth someplace she cried and cried till I came back home.
We worked on our computers most of the time, LOL! But, I LOVE doing that. We set up her website and I’m hoping she runs with it and starts making good money with it! 
Elizabeth’s kittens have thumbs! So interesting!

So, on August 15th I turned 38!! I did something amazing for my birthday! I CUT MY HAIR!!!! Waa Hoo!!
Man, at church people were going NUTS over my hair! What a birthday!! Everybody was telling me “Happy Birthday” because of facebook! Love Facebook for telling everyone that it was my birthday!!!
After church, we ate lasagna and then went to Erie and did some shopping and then we saw the movie “Dinner for Shmucks” and then came home and had birthday cake and went to bed. It was a fun day!!
