This week has been very busy.  Thursday the girls and I decided to cancel lunch out because Sue H was sick with a cold, Barb wasn’t sure she could come and the same with Donna, Becky is having surgery and Nila is in Florida.  So, Sue S and I decided to just say forget it and cancel till next week.  I hope all of us can make it then.  It helps since we are short of funds anyway.

I worked on the computer, had a coaching session with Terri as she is my mentor coach and she is helping me kick my butt into gear and get my business up and going.  She says I HAVE to take an office day each week were I go to the office (library) and WORK!!  At home, I am distracted with the TV, laundry, dusting, sweeping, pets, Chuck, etc. LOL!! I end up not getting much done at all.  So, we said Monday but I may change that to Wednesday because I REALLY want bowling lessons on Monday’s but I have to wait for funds so this Monday I may take that office day at the library and getter done!

Friday at 9am I went to a neighbors house to help her reformat her computer.  It’s been running really bad and she has no money to take it in and doesn’t know how to do it.  I went over and we figured it out and actually it’s SO EASY to reformat her computer!!!  She was thrilled because now she can do it herself when need be.  BUT, her connection is slower than mine so to do the 73 windows updates and the updates for the AVG anti virus took 3 hours!  But, we got to sit and chat and I got to know her better.  Her son plays football and wrestles with the boys.  Nick is a complete SPAZ but he’s a great kid and Chuck and I really like him and his parents.

I got done at 1:30 and had to hurry home.  Her husband smokes in the house and even though he wasn’t there the house smells like cigeretts so I STUNK!  I told her so too and I told her I had to shower before getting the boys from school.  LOL!  So, I get into the mudroom and stripe EVERYTHING off into the washing machine and walk into the house naked right into the shower!  LOL!!!  Chuck was watching TV and NEVER noticed LOL!!!!!!  :P

I picked the boys up and YEAH there is NO MORE after school wrestling practice.  There is courage wrestling practice but the boys wanted the night off so they could do the Rock-n-Bowl from 9pm to 11pm.  Courage’s is the little kids and they go for another few weeks so the boys will join them M-W-F from 5:30 to 7:30.  Personally I can’t WAIT till wrestling is OVER OVER OVER OVER!!!!!!!

The boys had fun bowling and it SUCKS picking them up that late.  It’s like 9 degrees outside and all I want to do is go to bed.  But, they had fun and I got to bed by 11:45.

Today (Saturday) I got up at 8am and watched a movie.  Chuck took the boys to their bowling league, I chatted with my mom on the phone for a while, discussing how we are spazzes, you know my ADHD and she may be ADD.  I always knew my mom was weird, in fact ALL my friends knew this, it’s were I get it!  I bet if you ask my boys friends they will agree, heck my own friends would agree that I’m weird!  LOL!!

Okay, I swiped this off another blog I saw, but I HAD to!!  This video is REALLY good, just stomach your way through to the end, if you have to look away do so but DON’T shut it off.  I put this video on all our phones and on CJ’s iPod, LOL!!

Today was a bit stressful for me and now I am a tad depressed.  Happens and I will get over it!  Went outside to find that our propane tank is at 5% and the weather is only getting COLDER!  So, I call, explain that we have no money until Chuck gets paid in 3 weeks.  They said they won’t do anything without a credit check.  Well, I said I would call back later.  To get the minimum load of 150 gallons is $471.64.  OUCH!  I had to do something I HATE to do, I had to borrow it.  I really hate doing that but we HAVE to have heat!  So, borrowed the money and ordered the propane.  Hopefully they come soon.

Katie came over today, she is our new book keeper.  She went through ALL our paper work to help Chuck get it all together for taxes.  We have 2 LLC’s so things can get hairy.  She is NOT an accountant but she is good at putting it all together FOR the accountant.  MUCH cheaper that way!  She is now going to come over once a month and input all Chuck’s info into the computer and make him file his taxes quarterly.  She can yell at him for the way he keeps his books and he will no longer be yelling at me for how they are!  YEAH!!

There was a paper that I had to sign and give $10 for Joe to go to the Hard Rock Hall of Fame museum and it was due today and he told me and I said no problem I will find it and be sure you have it.  I TOTALLY forgot about it and this was just last night!  He didn’t want to bother me so he didn’t call me so I could bring it up to the school so now he can’t go and he really wanted to.  I might just stop by the school and see if he can still go.  I feel awful!  I am so stressed that I can’t remember ANYTHING!

I am working on an Excel project with Elizabeth and we aren’t doing to bad.  I hope we are done soon, I think she will make really good money with it.  I am also working on my own stuff so that I can start making some money of my own too!  This is nuts to be broke all the time, especially in the winter, EVERY WINTER!!!  My goal is to make $1,000.00 a week, we shall see how long it takes me to get there!  :)

Oh man, I am SO tired!!!  This weekend has been NUTS!!

Thursday night CJ got his head slammed into the mat pretty hard, came home and lay down on his bed with a headache the rest of the night.  He had a lot of homework so I let him stay home the next day till after lunch.  He still didn’t get it all done as his head still hurt. I said tough crap because he had a wrestling tournament that evening and had to take the bus there from school.

On Friday after I took CJ back to school Chuck and I drove 45 minutes to Painsville to the wrestling tournament.  Got there at 4pm.  I sat in the same spot on the bleachers till 10:45pm.  My lower back and my legs were killing me!!  CJ lost his first match and had a bye the second match so he made it to the next day.  Joe lost his first but won his second so he made it to the next day also.  Got home at almost midnight.

Saturday, Chuck got up at 5am to get the boys to the school by 6am to catch the bus.  He came back home and we then slept till 8am.  Made it to the school in Painsville at 9:30am and we were there till 5pm.  It wasn’t over but all the kids from our school were done.  CJ and Joe lost their matches so they did not place.  3 kids from our school did though!   We left at 5 because Chuck and I bowl at 6:30pm on Saturday nights.

We dropped the boys off at home, grabbed our bowling stuff and went to the bowling alley.  We were exhausted!  I bowled a 148, 140 and a 213!!!  OH MY GOSH!!! I have NEVER bowled over a 184!  YEAH!!!!  These bowling lessons are really working out.  To be that tired and bowl that high on my LAST game is AWESOME!!!  OH YEAH!!  I’m going back for more lessons.  Maybe on Tuesday I will go in for some more.  It’s nice that Tom at WestWay Lanes in Girard gives them for free.  He gave me some pointers on Monday for maybe 3 minutes (they were SO busy) and I can’t believe it helped that much!

Took the boys to school this morning and the heat never worked.  We froze all the way there!  I have no idea why my poor truck is all of a sudden just falling to pieces!  On the way home, the fuel light came on even though I had a quarter of a tank left, I got gas and filled it up but the light never came off, odd.  Pulled into the driveway and the back end on the drivers side is hissing and leaking some kind of fluid all over the place!!  I have no idea what it is, it’s not gas, could be break fluid?  I have no clue.  Right now, we have no money to buy or fix anything.  This sucks!

Yesterday, both boys pinned their guys in the wrestling match.  They were both very excited about that.  They are going to a tournament this Saturday, but we are going to have to find another vehicle for them to take, I think mine is about dead.

I am helping my friend, Elizabeth, get a parent time tracker software going with Excel.  LOL!!  We both really don’t know a thing about it!  She is learning some and I will try also and we’ll see if we can’t get a really good one.  She wants to sell them, and if we can make one how she wants it, she should do really well with it!

Not much else going on, thought I think with my truck that’s a good thing!

You know, I’m sitting here watching CNN and my problems really are NOTHING compared to the devastation I am watching on TV.  We have 3 other vehicles that run, sure they are big and hold 2 people, BUT we aren’t totally stranded, just inconvenienced.  Sure, we don’t have money right now, but that’s what it’s like in the winter for us, it’s not that we will NEVER have money again.  We are living on land that is totally PAID for!  We owe NOTHING for the place were we are living.  We have heat, we have food, we can get medical care, our kids are healthy, they get A’s and B’s in school, they don’t drink, smoke or do drugs.  They are great kids, I have a husband that doesn’t drink, smoke, do drugs, who works hard so I don’t have too.  I have NOTHING to complain about and it would be best if I remembered that more often.

In April 25, 1989 I was in Mexico City on a field trip with my school.  On the last day there around 8am we got hit with a 6.9 earthquake.  The buildings were bending and swaying and people were running all over the place screaming.  The horror I saw on their faces and in there eyes will stay with me for life.  No lives were lost and no buildings came down BUT if they hadn’t gotten slammed in 85′  (where their whole city just about collapsed) and rebuilt the city to withstand something like that, I would not be here today and neither would the rest of us that went on that trip.

I really do have a lot to be thankful for, way more than most people here on Earth.  So, when you think life sucks and that nothing is ever going to go your way,  I bet you can find thousands that are worse off than you.  You would be surprised at how much you really DO have and how much your life really DOESN’T suck!

Like they say, “If you don’t like how something looks, change the way you look at it.”

Well, let’s see….. I meant to write in my blog more often and here it is, 5 days later, and I haven’t yet!  UGH!!  So, after that horrible week last week, I am really hoping that this week will be MUCH better!

On Friday, Chuck and I opened up our sewer lid and found it 6″ from the top!  GROSS!!!!!!  So, we had a guy come out and for $150 we got the 1,500 gallon tank emptied out.  Now, everything runs great!  He did say that no days, because of all the anti-bacterial soaps people use that tanks really should be emptied out every 4-5 years.  He said that even putting yeast down there really doesn’t help because of the amount of the anti-bacterial stuff that gets put in there.  He did say that the only real thing he sees that works is Rid-X, because it keeps it soft enough to pump out easy and so the paper can move to the bottom.  But, at $5 a month and still needing to be pumped out at 5 years, it’s not really worth it.  So anyway, that is fixed and working good now!

My truck needs a new motor.  The bearings have worn down and it makes the oil pressure go down and it ticks really bad.  I could drive it for years or weeks before it dies, we don’t know.  We are going to look around and see if we can find a used truck with a motor that will fit mine and change them out.  Our friend, Dave, can change them out.  So, I will be looking around for a new motor, or a new car, LOL!!

My bowling has been improving since I got my new ball and shoes for Christmas!  I won about $15 on Saturday night from bowling so well.  I was 84 pins over my average and was the highest over my average of the whole league so I won some money and this past Saturday I was 109 pins over so I will probably win again!  I was highest over my average on my first game and won some money too.  My average is 128, next week it will probably be higher.  I need more lessons but Chuck hurt his knee, so it probably won’t be this week.

I had Mike look at my upper gums on the left side.  It hurts really bad and all the way to my eye.  I thought maybe I had an abscess  or something.  He looks and I guess I have a canker sore.  I never had one before.  It’s very painful and it’s up in the crease of my gum and cheek.  Mike said they are very painful and last for weeks.  At least it’s not an abscess!  So, not sure what to do about it, if anything.  I hope it goes away soon.  Another good thing, at least it’s on the inside of my mouth and not the outside for the world to see!!!

Okay, this week just SUCKS!!!  My truck is STILL running like crap.  I had Dean look at it and he said it’s a lifter arm that is sticking and making the motor miss.  He was surprised that it was only 1/2 a quart low on oil, for all the noise it was making.  He said he would change the oil and put in a new filter and an additive on Thursday morning.  He put some oil in it and we’ll see how it goes.  He said that if the oil change doesn’t fix it, then I would have to tear the whole engine apart.  Yeah, right!  I need a new vehicle!  :(

Chuck also got his Big truck stuck at the end of the driveway and used mine to get it out and ripped my back bumper and hitch off.  The hitch is broken in half and it now sticks out about 2 feet!  I am going to see if Dean will cut it off for me tomorrow.  My passenger headlight has also been out for a couple months.  Chuck bought the light, but when he went to change it, saw it was more than he wanted to do and so the light has been sitting in my truck for about a month.  I will see if Dean will put that in too.  Here’s hopin I will still have a running truck for a while!

Monday night, Joe said the water wasn’t draining when he took a shower.  I told him don’t worry about it.  Tuesday morning I find that the toilet is backing up into the tub (GROSS) and that the main drain is totally clogged up!  WONDERFUL!!!!!  So, went out and got the power strength stuff and used the whole bottle, STILL CLOGGED!!!!  ARG!!!!  I’ll have to get some more today and hope it works.  Joe took a shower and the whole tub filled up again!  I need a shower and so does CJ, *SIGH*.

I just did the dishes in large bowls.  Dumped the water outside.  Cleaned out the fridge and cleaned all the tupperware.  I need to take the trash out back and burn it, wish the snow wasn’t knee high!  I will do that before I go get the boys from school.  I will probably take them to Brenda’s house so they can get a shower after practice.  They hate showering at the high school, and I don’t blame them!  I may go to her place while they are at practice and shower myself!  LOL!

Since I am whining (it’s my blog, I am allowed) my mudroom SUCKS!!!!  The roof has leaked since it was built and Chuck has tried many times to get it to stop.  WELL, he tried AGAIN in 2007 and it DIDN”T work!!!  He said he’ll have to buy trusses and connect it to the trailer roof to make it a pitched roof instead of a flat roof.  Here is what my mudroom looks like today!  The ceiling is falling down and the floor as ALL my bowls and plastic buckets!!  WWWAAAA!!!!
