Yesterday we didn’t go to church. We had my nephew, Dave, over and I had to run him up to the church but the boys and I stayed home because we had to be in Edinboro for a baby shower at 1pm.  They had some school work they wanted to get done.

Joe was behind in his history class and they are doing a big project and he asked the teacher if he could take it home and work on it.  Thank God he let him.  It’s an in class project.  Joe has a low C in that class!! YIKES!! He knows he has to do well on this or he will end up with a D or worse.  I have no idea why he’s not doing well in that class.  He has gotten all A’s and B’s all year in every class.  He is making comments like CJ did when I first put them in school.  I think Joe my have ADD or ADHD too.
CJ has been on med’s for it for a while and it has helped him focus at school a lot!  He notices the difference.  He only takes it for school.  He isn’t a spaz and neither is Joe but any kind of noise or distraction causes them to not be able to pay attention even when they try and they get frustrated and really upset.

So, I take Joe for his intake today and I’m having a psychiatrist to evaluate him and let us know what he thinks.  Joe also has anger issues and I’m just really hoping this will help Joe out.  We don’t see the doctor today, it’s just paper work.  We had to wait 6 weeks for this appointment.  I hope we don’t wait that long to see the doctor.  I know school is almost done but that gives us the summer to see how things work out.

They both managed to get everything done and we made it to the shower by 1pm.  The boys wondered why they had to even go to a baby shower but this was more like a huge family get together and it wasn’t just a bunch of  ladies sitting around, LOL!

It was at my Aunt Ellen’s place and it was PACKED!! I felt VERY claustrophobic!  It was so cold outside so I couldn’t go out there.  There was no real place to hide!  I found, Kathy, and I love talking to her so I just sat next to her and we chatted for quiet some time.  That was nice.  It was good to see my twin sisters too, I only see them a few times a year.  I couldn’t wait to go home though, LOL!

I would have some pictures, I brought my camer and everything but I left the memory card for my camera at home so I couldn’t take any.  What a bummer!

When we got home I noticed that our rat, Lucy, looked funny.  She was laying on her side.  I really thought she was dead and I had Chuck go check on her.  She wasn’t dead but she could move really.  He put her in her house and later I gave her some seeds and she ate some.  This morning she wasn’t moving much and breathing hard.  I don’t think she is going to make it much longer.  She is over 4 years old now and I guess that is really old for a rat.  Poor Lucy!
